Michael J. Rada
Attorney and Owner

Michael Rada is the owner and sole practitioner in the Law Offices of Michael Rada, LLC located in Barrington, Illinois. Michael’s practice serves clients with matters in estate planning, family and divorce mediation and probate mediation.

Knowing that the law is not a “one size fits all” proposition, Michael applies his wealth of experience dealing with people and complex problems in finding the right solution for each individual client. He believes that listening to the client and fully understanding the desired outcome is an essential part of the legal process. In addition, Michael believes that clients must be treated with respect and dignity at all times, and be fully aware of their options and likely outcomes so that they may make informed decisions that are always in the best interest of the client.

Michael believes that parties who are in dispute are often times best served attempting to resolve their differences at the conference table rather than in the courtroom. He firmly believes that mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution can be the most efficient, cost effective and least stressful way for parties to come to agreement. Whether it be divorce, an estate dispute, or contract dispute, Michael believes that clients are best served attempting to mediate their issues in a collaborative manner before assuming that the courtroom is their only choice. For this reason, Michael holds a certificate in Family and Divorce Mediation.

Michael is admitted to practice law in Illinois. He received his Law Degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. He also holds a Master’s Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition to his legal career, Michael has gained significant practical experience working for many years at United Airlines and the Chicago Title and Trust Company.
